Carmarthenshire Hospital Scores 100% in Patients’ Satisfaction Ratings

BMI Werndale Hospital in Bancyfelin, Carmarthen, has been awarded an overall satisfaction score of 100% by its patients who rated overall quality of care as either good, very good or excellent.

The independent survey, conducted by market research firm Howard Warwick Associates, was carried out during the period 1^st January 2011 to 31^st December 2011 and measured patient satisfaction across a broad range of criteria including patients’ overall impression of administration, consultant care, imaging (Xray), anaesthetists, theatre staff, accommodation and whether patients were treated with respect and dignity.  Overall nursing care received 99.7%.

Werndale’s major specialities are orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, gastroenterology, and ophthalmology, cosmetic and general surgery.
